DQC Services was built on over 15 years of shared experience, hard work and a friendship forged on a construction site. What began as three specialists working on the same project has grown into a trusted demolition, quarrying and construction company operating across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Our founders — Andy, Mike and Chris — met while working on a large redevelopment project many years ago. Each brought a different skill, a different perspective and a shared commitment to doing things properly. Today, that same commitment drives every project we take on.
Andy was the demolition lead on the project where the team first met. Known for his precision and calm approach, he handled the dismantling of an old industrial structure that set the tone for the entire build. With decades of experience in safe, controlled demolition, Andy oversees all demolition operations across the UK and Ireland, ensuring every site is cleared efficiently and responsibly.
Mike was the project manager on that same job, coordinating teams, schedules and budgets while keeping the entire build running smoothly. He’s the organiser, the planner and the problem‑solver — the one who makes sure every project stays on track from start to finish. Today, Mike leads construction management, specialising in renovations, restorations and bespoke new builds.
Chris earned the nickname “Big Chris” long before the team met him — partly because of his size, partly because of his reputation for handling the toughest quarrying jobs. On the project where they met, he was responsible for quarrying and supplying sandstone, keeping the build stocked with high‑quality materials. Now he heads up all quarrying services across Europe, including equipment hire and skilled operator deployment.
What started as three men working on a single project has grown into a company trusted for its reliability, experience and straight‑talking approach. Whether it’s demolishing an unsafe structure, supplying quarry equipment across Europe or building a bespoke home from the ground up, the team brings the same dedication they had on day one.
